Outside Sales Engineer

This critical role will cultivate strategic relationships with current and future customers in efforts to increase sales, gross profits, and market share. We are looking for a super star with a strong engineering background and proven relationship building skills. The sales territory will focus on partnerships in the Houston, TX market.
To be successful in this role:
- An individual will need to analyze current customer requirements and make recommendations for proper solutions.
- Have a consultative sales approach where the goal is to help the client become more efficient and/or more profitable.
- An individual must maintain knowledge around focus products and have a practical knowledge of all additional product lines.
- Have a working knowledge of servo motors, motion control and industrial control networks.
- It will be important to utilize the funnel process to identify, prioritize, gain and maintain market share. While attaining a goal of four to five effective sales calls per day, you will need to update sales and funnel activities on a weekly basis.
A degree from an accredited college or university in one of the following areas is preferred – Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Fluid Power Technology, Robotics or Motion Control Technology In addition, three plus years of experience in a related field is desired.

Microsoft Business Intelligence Developer

Mission of the Role
This mission of this role is to create, document, and administer enterprise data warehouse processes using leading edge Microsoft technologies in alignment with the IT and business strategies.
Education/Experience
Minimum of 2 years hands on experience with Microsoft BI suite is required. In addition, expert knowledge of Microsoft SQL Server Business Intelligence Stack including: MS SQL Server 2008, SSIS, SSAS, and SSRS is required. Must have experience with Reporting Services against SQL Tables and strong Visual Studio experience. Experience working on a team to build a Data Warehouse and experience with Share Point is a plus. A four year degree in Information technology is preferred, but not required.
Key Microsoft BI Developer Accountabilities
- This role is responsible for developing and maintaining world class business intelligence solutions. This involves the design, build and maintenance of SSRS, SSIS and SSAS BI components; providing specific customized decision making tools and processes to the organization.
- As a member of the Data Warehouse team, assists with the Data Warehouse Design and the Dimensional Model Design, ultimately contributing to the creation and monitoring of the Data Warehouse.
- Design and develop Analysis Services databases, cubes and Drill Down reports, optimized for handling large amounts of data efficiently. Tune the analytical and reporting environment to ensure performance and service delivery expectations are met.
- Establish standards on data warehouse policies, procedures, technical issues, best practices and priorities that relate to the effective implementation of a business intelligence solution.
- It will be important to work with business stakeholders and users to explain/train functionality of the Data Warehouse. Requirements gathering and business analysis skills will be important for meeting end user needs.
- Other responsibilities include Data and Dimensional Modeling, Data Governance, Data Extraction from ERP system, and creating complex analytical applications through Sharepoint.
- Must be a self-starter with the ability and willingness to take initiative and gather requirements independently.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills are required.Other miscellaneous duties as assigned by supervisor.

Technical Inside Sales

Location: Kansas City, KS
Hartfiel Automation, a distributor of pneumatic and motion control automation components, is seeking a Technical Inside Sales Representative for their Kansas City territory. This critical role interacts with customers over the phone and in person to work through technical issues and answer general customer questions. Through interaction with existing clients and new prospects, this role is responsible for maintaining and increasing market share in the Kansas City territory.
This individual will need to research and find solutions to customer technical needs as well as prepare quotations and coordinate product details for the sales team. The internal sales team works with the outside sales staff in scheduling appointments and looking for additional opportunities to provide new products and services. Operating within the framework of Hartfiel's mission, values, and vision statement will be critical.
This position requires an associates degree from an accredited college or technical school and/or two plus years experience in Technical Inside Sales or related field. Experience with pneumatics and motion control automation components is preferred. Skills managing a territory, building client relationships, and prospecting are also preferred.
