Hartfiel Heroes
Posted on: June 10th, 2011
Hartfiel Automation will be participating in the 2011 Susan G. Komen 3-Day for the Cure as the Hartfiel Heroes. Hartfiel Heroes has again joined forces to support this great cause, with their mission of ‘saving the world one pair at a time’.
Hartfiel Heroes, comprised of 11 walkers (+ one crew member), will be walking 20 miles a day August 19-21 in Minneapolis, MN. Nearing their goal of $25,000 and currently in sixth place of the top fundraisers for Minneapolis, the team still has almost two months left for fundraising. Having only completed one of three team fundraisers they are well on their way in exceeding their current goal.
The first event by Hartfiel Heroes, a brunch, took place in May at company headquarters in Eden Prairie. Tickets for the homemade brunch of, but not limited to, Baked French Toast, Quiche, and Biscuits & Gravy, proved to be an easy sell – who doesn’t like a homemade meal?
The next event taking place in Waverly, MN will be a crowd pleaser with a silent auction, pig roast, and live music.
June 25th, Waverly, MN at the Uptown Bar and Grill
-Pig Roast from 4:00 to 7:00
$10 (includes beer/soda)
-Silent Auction from 4:00 to 7:00
-Live Music from 5:00 to 8:00. (Hartfiel CEO, Myron Moser, on the drums!)
The final fundraising event will be a hamburger/bratwurst bbq including a bean bag toss competition.
July 27th, Hartfiel Headquarters, Eden Prairie, MN
-Lunch time BBQ – 11:30 – 2:00pm (everyone welcome)
-Bean Bag Toss Championship Game will be at end of lunch (*unfortunately this is for Hartfiel employees only)
