ABB’s Delta robot portfolio is the leader in state-of-the-art high-speed robotic picking and packing technology for use in the picking, packing, and packaging applications. Delta robots offer the greatest flexibility in a compact footprint.

ABB’s IRB 360 FlexPicker® is capable of the fastest picking applications and have been optimized for packing applications. The robot has outstanding motion performance with the shortest cycle times, precision accuracy for payloads from 1 to 8kg.

With the same five axes and 1.5kg payload, the three variants (800mm, 1100mm, 1300mm) of IRB 365 FlexPicker® Delta robot are the most flexible fastest in their class for reorientating packaged lightweight products such as cookies, chocolates, candies, small bottles, and parcels.

Opening new possibilities for ultra-fast high payload picking and packing. The IRB 390 FlexPacker delta robot is designed for rapid changeover times that accompany the growth of low volume, high mix production to respond to the revolution of new consumer demands.

Quick, precise, and reliable, ABB’s SCARA robots are ideal for customers requiring rapid cycle times, high precision, and high reliability for material handling, loading & unloading, picking & placing, and small part assembly & testing applications.

Ceiling-mounted SCARA increases assembly flexibility. Fast, cost-effective and accurate.

Offering class-leading speed and compact design, can be installed in a variety of locations to enable fast and cost-effective handling of loads up to 6kg.

A12-kg or 22-kg high payload SCARA that boosts throughput by up to 10% with class-leading speed, accuracy, internal cabling, and extraordinary downward force.

High Payload Palletizing Application

ABB’s SWIFTI™ CRB 1300 industrial collaborative robot is designed to bridge the gap between industrial and collaborative robots. Combining class-leading speed and accuracy
with expanded load handling capability of up to 11kg, SWIFTI can be used in a wide variety of production and product handling applications.

Case Story | Automating White Castle

White Castle, the world’s first hamburger chain was an early 1998 adopter of ABB Robots, utilizing an IRB FlexPicker to replace a time-consuming job of packing frozen burger sliders into cartons. Fast forward to today: White Castle is still using ABB robots and installed two ABB IRB 1200 robot stations to pack the cartons

An Efficient Automatic Unpacking Solution

ABB Robotics cooperates with EFC to create an unpacking solution with the optimal cutting path by introducing a cleanroom version of IRB 1200 small robots to connect each station and using IRB 4600 to optimize production capacity. Three robots continuously work together to maximize efficiency.
